Richard August Carl Emil Erlenmeyer 1825-1909

German chemist who created the Erlenmeyer flask (a flask to make mixing chemicals easier). He also created the Erlenmeyer's Rule which states that all alcohols in which a hydroxyl group attached directly to a double-bonded carbon atom will become aldehydes or ketones.
